Michelle Grimes is an E-RYT 200-hour certified Yoga instructor. She received her Yoga certification from Charm City Yoga in Baltimore, MD. She has studied and practiced Yoga and Meditation for over 20 years. Michelle professes that the discipline of both Yoga and Meditation, not only changed her life, but also helped to save her life. Through her practice, she has learned to live life with more presence and awareness. Michelle has trained with world renowned Yoga instructors throughout the U.S. and abroad. She has been influenced by numerous styles, including Power, Ashtanga, Bikram, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. Michelle has a true passion as an instructor, and loves to share the gift of the practices with others! She firmly believes that Yoga is for everyone, and stands by her motto, “if you're breathing, you're practicing!” Michelle instructs to all levels of practitioners, beginner to advanced, and provides modifications to accommodate each person. She is known for her charismatic and energetic teaching style, intuitive understanding of the body, and her carefree, fun-loving spirit.
Michelle believes that you can learn so much about yourself and others by practicing regularly. She feels that Yoga is such an inspirational, healing practice. Feeling at peace with herself and others, gaining strength both internally and externally, and increasing her ability to remain present in the mind and body, are just a few reasons why she comes back to her mat day after day. Michelle is humbled and honored to have the opportunity to help others along their Yoga journey.
